Mullardoch Round, 2-3 February 2007

A classic, remote solo unsupported, on-sight winter's round, 48 miles 6130m, 26 hours 8 mins

This is a serious winter round on which I saw no people, no habited buildings, no roads and apart from a brief distant vista, no lights. I set out alone and carried everything. Highlights were a shooting star, a brocken spectre, the Alpenglow, rock hard neve in the moonlight and shimmering ice. Only the final descent marred a magnificent day.
