38 miles, 16,000 feet, 23 hours, solo unsupported on sight.
An unforgettable winter journey, though not what I had planned. The intention was to do Jon Broxap's record breaking Munro round but over 2 or even 3 days. Deep crusty snow put paid to that along with a troublesome crampon strap, but the resulting one day round of Glen Shiel was a magical solo adventure in the deep of winter.
