The Ramsay Round is the classic Scottish 24 hour round covering 23 Munros (it was 24 until the demotion of Sgurr an Iubhair. First achieved by Charlie Ramsay in 1978, it had only been repeated 28 times when I set forth. For me it proved to be a protracted affair starting in 2000.
